I'm not familiar with the ground your way but down here we often need to line the lakes with clay.
If that's the case then source, transport and applying of the clay would also need to be considered.

That's generally the going rate in the construction industry just priced a job in reading with 8000m3 of bulk
dig cart away rate was 38
If as mentioned before if there is gravel present then there will be a trade off

Not sure who would gain financially but I'm sure a lake owner near me got paid around 80 quid per lorry load to split his lake, had dozens of lorries in each day for days.

Is that pit 4? Wondered what had happened to it. Had a walk round it today, I fished pit 1 for a few bites and had a nice walk round.

Yeah, pit four used to be a cracking lake. For the majority of it now, in the summer a marker pops up within a foot or two.
