No many day tickets are shut due to this reason like tennis, golf, bowling etc
Sadly I've witnessed folk when we could go fishing in the last lockdown misbehaving. Just an excuse to get pi55ed with zero social distancing and then drive home the next morning clearly over the limit.
Do you think a fishery owner wants to risk loosing their lease or all the bad press due to these individuals.
I want night fishing as much as everyone else. Sadly it's the minority that ruin it.

Plenty of day ticket waters open, but a lot of the ones shut know that its probably better being shut and furloughing themselves than the amount of money they'd take at the mo.

No more than normal mate, don't matter what had happened even before covid a lot of places where a no go for me anyway with it being so busy. It's the way carp fishing has gone now unfortunately, the only day tickets I fish are a couple that don't let every single swim to be filled leaving at least a couple free.

I have little to no hope that the plans released tomorrow will be sensible and well thought out. It's not as if the government has shown any form of leadership during the last year. So wish to be proven wrong.
And night fishing shouldn't be allowed not yet far more important aspects of life to sort out. I'm longing to go yet it's the least of my worries.

No chance....the potato in a wig has us by the balls now and will not give us any freedoms back without a fight.
I'd say schools for younger ones open...and that's your lot.

Frankly that would be the best thing for now and even then that should be limited. We should plan as a nation for all those that are in regular contact with others to be vaccinated shop workers and emergency services and teachers etc imho.

I work and haven't stopped working throughout the whole of the pandemic but I can still get on plenty of lakes just need to book up in advance like I do anyway and do a 48hr every other weekend.

Plenty of blokes fish during the week who do overnighters that work the following day. Too much agg for me, I just rock up on the weekend after a week's hard graft. Most of the time I'm in for a shout.
