Not owned a bivvy for the last few years as been more than happy with a brolly but must admit that if I decide to get a bivvy as a backup the Sonik is high on my to check out list so would be keen to get your views once you have had a chance to try it out

I love my pentalite for day-use. Keep my chair and even my carporter dry if needed.

Used a few 45 inch nylon argos brollies,now use a fox specialist brolly, fantastic bit of kit

I rate the jrc bloxx 2g compact shelter as can add a wrap to it to use it as a full bivvy, it's light enough goes up fast and pretty stable too

I have a Korum Day Shelter and it is great, plenty of room and good head room as well.

I'll check that one out. I've not seen it before.
I was/am still trying to get hold of an ESP Lo Pro as a light brolly but there are none available anywhere (including Ebay). I messaged ESP and they are bringing out a new one but not until at least later in the year and possibly not even then.
So... (unless someone has one for sale...)
I've been looking at the Sonik brolly and the Wychwood Tactical (and I've read most of the threads on here about brollies). And I can't decide.

i've got a korum 50" brolly, it's very light, the lightest i could find, it keeps me dry when it rains and it's nice and easy to carry

I have an older korum oval, its quite small but perfect for day fishing and summer nights. You can get a sensible sized bedchair and all the gear (minimalist) for a couple of days under it.
