this is a modified jag micro pod with 2 high tippers used on the front legs

This is what I use on the Ebro, never been tipped over, had some absolute mad takes with the rods being bent double.

no mate only way you would buy a Mk 1 is second hand only mentioned it is so people dont get a rubbish pod

I used to have the full monty Solar worldwide and global extension kit and all extras lovely but just too heavy for my needs these days

None of the above issues with the JRC TX. Only time I would fasten it down is if it was on ground I couldn't push the legs into at all. Otherwise it's rock solid and doesn't need it.

Plus it's 3 rod and comes with two different sets of front leg lengths so versatile too

sold mine to heavy
and Rob I always have a safety peg on my rear leg as a boat came in the margin on a bend I was fishing and it was only because I had it pegged it didnt drag the lot in

after that I always use a peg even though its not needed BUT ! it only takes a mo and its a great safety precaution

Would be interested to know the weight difference
