I've bumped into Joe on a number of occasions on the complex last summer, he's a really decent bloke and makes it look easy at times, it'll be interesting to see if this style of no advertising is sustainable but it's fantastic viewing, I for one will be supporting him as it's great viewing and I hope it has longevity 👍

Yes have to agree with a lot of the sentiment on here. It's good ain't it. Like Joe's free spirit and his buisness outlook. Quite refreshing ain't it. Only paying for the content if your in the position to. Let's hope enough people see it this way and put a few quid his way when they can.

Watched the first episode - he certainly is a Jammy B*stard - fair play to him - he has a great outlook on life.

I've donated a fiver and will do the same for each episode I watch. These things take time and money to put together.

I must admit I'm nervous for him - I think a huge number of people will watch and not donate.

I thought the same.... but then thought about it again...

Vid 2 - 60k views
Vid 3 - 41k views

Lets just say 1% of people are like me and you, and pay £5 per video watched...

Thats 1690 people so far...so nearly £8.5k for 3 video uploads.

He's putting 1 video out every 2 weeks.... so even on an average of 500 people paying £5 that's £2.5k per upload.

I'd guess more and more could go this way.... its similar to Carl & Alex pateron (spelling) model.

I think its another good addition to the content available to watch and get a small fishing fix.

Read an article on Joe in this months Carpology, really like his attitude and chilled out approach, a refreshing change from getting it rammed down your throat!

Did pick up on a bit of a vibe between him and Elliot Gray and that they were supposed to be doing something together before Elliot bought Carp TV and ultimately launched Cyp....reading between the lines they wanted to take things in different directions. Not that Joe sounded bitter or anything...

I will take in a couple of Joe's vids this weekend, I have a Cyp subscription but to be honest I'm not getting my monies worth apart from the odd one that takes my fancy....mainly the old school carpers.
