During Black Friday this year, I ordered some of the Vass ones with velcro fastening. Only to be told by Vale Royal that they wouldn't have em in stock until January, so I cancelled and ordered some Mountain Warehouse boots for £18, they seem OK, went for a walk in them today and they seem fine, nice and warm and didn't need to wear them in. Ordered a size bigger and they're OK with merino socks.
I also posted a question on here around this time, called something like "cheap thermal wellies/boots", have a look at that as there were plenty of answers on there.

I don't no mate I'm normally freezing tbh. I get cold very easily normally but my feet have never been a problem in these, I fished in snow last year plus freezing conditions in a few occasions and they seemed to keep my feet nice and warm, I do use merino thermal woolen socks with them aswell, just goes to show not everything so the same for everyone mate

I've ordered a pair to try 👍🏻 Use decent socks so hopefully be up to the job, well made quick fitting helped

I've used Jack Pyke boots for around 6 years and they are still warm and water tight just need some TLC.

I've been using the same pair of boom 80s since 1986 up until now when I went to put them on last week the original liners have gone to dust lol very warm if I could get some new liners I would wear them

Savage Gear Polar Boot is similar but cannot comment on how good they are. I'm torn between these and the Vaas boots myself
Vass R Boot with the optional neoprene lining, slip on and off with ease, warm as toast and no question about being waterproof if you have to venture into the margins.
