Pff pull my hairs out in my search for new 10ft rods
Found this one too stiff (almost to no bend from the middle)
-Ctx 10/12 2.75 / 3.00
-E-class gold 10/12 2.75 / 3.00
-Trakker Df 10ft
-Trakker Propel 10ft
-Fox X ...
-Shimano Tx-2 10 / 12ft
-Tackle Box Cf-X, TB told me that these of action are similar to the E-class so especially Tip bending
Rods that I really liked by bending in the middle
-Century armalite 10ft 2.75 (worth the money?)
-Daiwa Cast'izm cork 10ft 3.00
-Avid traction 10ft (no cork )
-Dwarf 10ft 3.25 cork (look for something of a higher level)
Which rods are also worth looking at?
-Wychwood extricator plus cork (do these mainly bend on the tip or also in the middle?)
-Nash Scope 2020 Cork?

Who did you speak to at the tackle box? I've got the cfx 10ft 3lb and they are not tippy at all.

They tested for me:
-CTX 10ft 3.25Lb
-E-class gold 3.00Lb
-Dwarf shrink 10ft 3.25Lb
-CF-X 3.00Lb
And they told me the following: CF-X are firmer in both test curves, more similar to the E class 10ft 3.25,
Because I have already tested the CTX/E-class gold, i think that CF-X is not the right rod for me.

I've got 10ft 3lb tc scopes and love them, 9ft 2.25tc scopes that I've battered, thrown in bushes, car and lake on more than one occasion, would love to see the daiwa 2.5tc but if can't or find their not right will buy another set of scopes.

Also tested with the CTX / E class gold, both bend a lot less than the Dwarf, where you feel the Dwarf bending in the middle the Free spirits do this a lot more on the tip

Yes, the Daiwas are tempting
Longer handle than the dwarfs, only 6 eyes but start eye is placed a bit backwards
Also seen, the 12ft Cast'izm felt good but ugly with that stupid 50mm eye
The 10ft Cast'izm has a 35mm starting eye, many rievies say 50mm but that is incorrect.

From what I read on the forum and in your posts then it sounds like a pair of Harrison Ballista 10ft 2.75lb would be worth considering. Or get the Cast'izms and find inner peace

The old e class bank creeper was 2.5 and bent right through under load
The problem is you're comparing rods of 3lb and above.. meaning they bend to 90 degrees with 3lb of force, if it's a real through action that bends to the handle with 3lb it will be gutless and something faster may bend at the top to 90 degrees but take take about 15lb to bend deeper in the blank.
The problem is people want a 10ft rod that's a mini ‘carp' rod with big guides and a long handle that can cast X yards.. that's not the point of a short rod and the end product is more often than not utter ****.
IMO you want a progressive action in 1.75-2.25 for what you describe and they're not very common in 9-10ft.. or a 3lb tip on a 2lb butt section
There's a reason floppy spaghetti rods were superseded by lighter, crisper and more responsive modern models but now it's moving more towards stout broomsticks to accommodate big guides, reels and leads

Tc doesn't say everything either
Look at my picture (#20) of my previous 10ft 3.25lb Dwarf how it bends (used weight was 60oz) the Ctx/E-class gold cannot bend like this in 2.75lb with the same weight
From what I've seen till now the Armalite seem to have everything i'm looking for, capable of throwing 80 yards, I can use them with 7oz lead on channels and they have a very nice fish play action with enough power but the cost me 200 more then the Daiwa Casr'izm...
I also do not want to be able to throw very far with a 10ft although I reached 85yard with 10ft dwarfs but that is not necessary (going to buy a bait boat) I also find big eyes ugly, I prefer 8 eyes with starting eye 30/40 mm

You've actually repeated what I said in a roundabout way, I know you don't want a broomstick.
My comments are about what the majority expect from a rod so that's what the manufacturers give them and why the only real way to get what you're describing is with a high end/custom rod

If you know a good 10ft fabric rod with cork outside the Cast'izm, Armalite, Fs S range, i would like to hear it,
then I can add it to my list, still have a few more weeks before I decide.

I wouldn't know. Honestly, read your posts back. You want something that off the shelf isn't available unless you take a compromise in performance or cosmetically. Like guide size, height and layout or handle configuration. Sod that
You currently have, no offence, cheap Chinese catalogue blanks. A scope is a better quality blank out of the same catalogue and those sly dogs put the longer handles people want, higher ‘tc' and bigger or better guides. Some brilliant blanks have been mass produced in Asia, look at free spirit.
But there's always a compromise one way or the other
I wouldn't entertain a rod unless I'd physically seen, built or had built for me exactly what I want, or the compromise was justified financially.
If this century rod has everything you want, buy those.
If you go to 11' you'll have loads more choice
