I think Fox maybe slightly better than ridge monkey and Nash is certainly better the the pair of them.

To me most Ridgemonkey stuff looks overpriced rebranded, that if you look around you can buy cheaper elsewhere.
I have had a bit of Fox gear over the years, original Fox Ultra bedchair, EasyDomes, Fox Royale luggage, (current and original), Fox Warrior landing net. This stuff lasted, but I do know from working in a tackle shop that they have had problems.
As for Nash, hmm! I can only think of 2 items that I would have recommended, both Outlaw range, landing net and an Outlaw Hurricane bivvy. Every luggage item I have bought has not had a long life, zips have broken, rucksacks split
I can honestly say that the TFG stuff I have bought is as good a quality as the more expensive gear.
Trakker, in terms of stoves, again, I could find the same item at often half the price.

I don't doubt that some of the RM products are a bit pony. But there's good and bad in all tackle manufacturers ranges. For a bit of balance, I was bought one of the toasters with the quick release handles as a present. One of the catches didn't work from new. The person who gave me it didn't have a receipt. I had no proof of purchase. I mailed RM telling them the situation. A few days later a new set of handles turned up. No question asked.
I also have one of their vault power packs. Yes I know that you can buy cheaper alternatives, but actually their version having a 12v cigarette socket, a usb c and std usb comes in very handy. I use mine for work to keep torches, gas analysers, laptop etc charged as well as fishing and it's been brilliant. I've had it about a year and it still seems to be holding its charge as well as when new.
I've also got the bucket that has the little trays in it for hookbaits etc. Mines not that old so I guess they've modified the design as mines easy to get the lid off and still retain your fingers.
The few fox products I've had in recent years have been shoddy and their customer service even shoddier.

The vast majority of the stuff we buy is Chinese crap and it's usually the luck of the draw as to whether the crap you've paid good money for falls to bits or not.
However....Mexico is the new China and we as a nation have just done a huge new trade deal with them.
So in a while expect your crap to arrive in the shops even later...with a sombrero on the box

Ridgemonkey, Fox, Nash, Trakker, Aqua and many others are all made in China, some in the same factory, some not but it's all mass-produced. Some appear to be better quality than others but the QC is crap therefore a certain percentage of any manufacturers products coming from China will always have problems......
It is obvious though that there is another level of quality in China itself as some have consistently more problems than others depending on the output quality of the factory they use!
That said, Cotswold Aquarius, "Made in the UK" have their fair share of quality issues and charge an eye-watering price for it!

Rubbish. Haters will hate if they have good reason... we've all bought gear that's let us down, let's face it, most gear is made to the cheapest bidder and I think they spend more money on packaging than they do getting a quality product to market. We all have brands we prefer to others and that's based on personal experience and your own standards - some people happily use crap gear and then others expect more for their money. The only Ridgemonkey item I own is a collapsible water bucket, that's been just fine

I bought a new rucksack last year after selling a CA vulpine rucksuck that I couldn't get on with - uncomfortable to carry any distance - poor design... bought a Wisport military rucksack for £110 and the quality is night and day better than the £150 Cotswold affair. That's a Polish manufacturer by the way. Pays to source gear from non fishing manufacturers where you can, as it is cheaper and way better.
