I was on Cassien when Glen caught that fish he was fishing with a guy called Simon I think. I had been in the same swim just two days before he caught it.

Great memories

My obsession with Cassien started that year

Moved from the south arm swim in front of Gerrards where Glen caught the fish to the bridge swim as Joe Taylor was just leaving, caught a 30 then moved just passed Ellis point and caught a 40.
Met some young now well know German and French anglers on that two week trip.

Sadly that was also the week we lost Keith Selleck and Wayne Dunn on Savay.
I remember Glen got the call at Jerrards .

It was Keith selleck and Clive Rigby that tragically lost there lives in a boating accident on Savay. Wayne Dunn is very much alive and living in France I believe.😀😔

Yes you are correct my mistake I did mean to say Clive,... Apologies to Wayne.
Such a tragedy at the time.
Was talking of Wayne only recently, last I heard he was living in France .
