THE most eagerly awaited book in many many years

Probably the first carp book which I have looked forward to in some years. A bit disappointed at the chapters though...he is focussing in the captures which we already know a lot about and holding the interesting stuff back.

I agree Mark, of the chapters I've seen they all seem to be waters that are covered elsewhere in one way or another. I'm hoping there's a couple of surprises in there.

In other news, Subsurface have just announced they have a new book out next Sunday. They kept that quiet.

I think you'll find there will be a fair bit on the two little CV pits he spent a lot of time on, don't think much of that is public knowledge yet, but might be wrong.

If you look throughout the various vids and promo shots released so far you'll spot your chapters on Burghfield, Wasing, The Little Grey etc.
I saw a mag article on his Chertsey campaign but would like to see that in detail. The Choco capture would be good to read about too.

Ah cool

I remember an interview a few years ago when first mentioned the 3rd book. He said because of the time since the 2nd one there was too much to cover so he was just going to cover the best captures.

Makes sense really.
