Try barbel frost and flood by John Baker if you want a maple flavour tweaked. I've been making some hookbaits with it after using it a lot for my barbel fishing and results so far have been encouraging

I've used a fishmeal base mix with solars Squid and octopus and John baker's plum with great success over the years, never added maple though.

I'm sure it would but don't rule out jb plum and ala salar in a fishmeal. The best flavour combo I've used

Agreed. Having used ala salar and plum in my own fish meal base mix it was an awesome combo. The only negative thing I found was the price was a bit steep compared to others on the market. Money aside fantastic combo imho

For a 6-egg mix, Chris. For hookers/pops 1ml per egg is OK, though on some venues it may be too strong.

I've just ordered some plum and maple pop ups from ub baits, i really rate plum as a flavour and it's in the fishmeal I use so thought these would be a nice match for them, hopefully they will bag me a few this winter 😁🎣
