I've had nothing but trouble with the trig hammers,points gone over in the packet,blunt after a few hours in the water,hook points gone over on weed...the shape of them are perfect but the points are crap in the ones I've used. I've used size 4s 5s and 6s..back to the mugga size 4

Same problem, even with some I had sharpened, I love the shape as well but blunt really easily.
Compared with some j precision euro curves I used recently, I couldn't believe how sharp they still were after 24hours..

Have had the same problem with with the points going dull !! Fine in one of the lakes I fish but in another they're going blunt overnight down to PH i suspect!!

it's a shame about the trig hammers as I really like them

Size 6 angling iron curves for me with a 12mm pop up, hook holds have been superb.

Only use size 4 muggas on ronnies. Don't think I've lost a fish on these on ronnies yet.

To answer your double corn question, no they won't hold up a size 4 mugga, I'm sure the largest barely holds up a size 6 mugga

Simply trim a small piece of yellow zig foam and place underneath. I use size 2 mugga's with this and double corn, also ideal if crays are present as there is no need for putty 😉

All these people never losing fish on Ronnie's with mugga, I tried with a size 4 and the first fish, you guessed it... a hook pull 🙈

I'm persevering though, might have been foul hooked for all I know....
