Never seen Jam, but I'll look it up.. in a similar vain if you like really dark and twisted comedy search out Monkey Dust... some of it is of it's time, late 90's but some still resonates! The BBC only released the first series on DVD but most episodes can be found on YouTube

Monkey Dust was heavily influenced by Jam. They also both had cracking soundtracks.
