. . .Ultralite still hard to beat IMO . . .but then I haven't used a Tempest so can only judge it on my own experience.
Permanent & full coverage twin skin (you can leave this on), great head room, opens up in seconds, 6 pegs in job done - storm poles, infill & gsheet if the conditions dictate. Plus I still think they look nicer than most of the current bivvies out there. . .if you can pick one up with decent spreader block / intact arms they make the perfect one man shelter . . just considering whether to get Andy Army to put some rear vents in . . .

Ive got a 100T im 6 ft 3 and its absolutely huge imo, the only downside is the increased weight and bulk obviously due to the extra materials and pole length, which is a good trade off really. I still use my F&L for overnighters but im beginning to sway to using the tempest all year round. I dont leave the skull cap on it so that reduces the weight and bulk again. I only really stick to the F&L becouse i tell myself its got a smaller footprint and it can fit anywhere although i suspect the footprint is pretty similar. Will have to check it out now

I have a Hide XL, Love the room in it, so much more than my Supabrolly before, No need for a bivvy now as this comfortably fits my SS3 Wideboy in with acres of room left

In comparision to the fast and light its bigger and bulkier , thats what i was comparing it too, its the first tempest ive ever owned so i cant compare it to any others but its a great bit of kit and a perfect shelter.

Yep. Bought one earlier this year and used it for probably a dozen nights now and its cracking. Literally goes up in 30 seconds, couldn't recommend it any more.

Had the V2 brolly and got rid of it, probably used it half a dozen times in all the speed it went up was plus point that's about all I liked about it.

My son used my Venture Razorback last week. First time it's been up for ages as I have a v1 Tempest I use.
Forgot how good it was, will definitely be using it again myself soon!

Cheers guys, think I'm going to go with the Nash, like the look of the trakker 100T but seen a few things about them turning orange / fading recently.

From what I have seen, trakker as well.
There was a post on here last week about it - I think in general chat.
Seen a few for sale that are badly faded as well, don't fancy risking it as they will not warranty replace for that reason either.

The height was the main one really and I'm only 5'8" and have a low Trakker ELS bed, well did just changed, but sat on the ELS I had to stoop to see out the thing unless I was lay down or sat on the floor, the skullcap was alright and stopped condensation directly above but the rest of the brolly would condensate real bad reminded me of the old Nash Titan wet caves, I've never fully closed a door on any bivvy even in driving rain its halfway open so the condensation shouldn't of been too bad but it was running by the mornings, I bought it on a whim really pre the 100T which is probably better at least for height from what I have read, wasn't the one for me flogged the lot to a mate no biggie some people love them and that's fine whatever suits, personally I prefer my V3 with inner capsule even with the extra setting up to the V2 brolly, I have bought a Wychwood Tactical a few months back but that hasn't been out the bag yet but at 1.4 high I'm hoping it's more suitable for me for overnight or two at most as the V3 is my longstay bivvy ie:- a week or more really.
