Had a look at these reels can anyone tell me what is the difference between all the LT , SS, LTC,BG,4BB after the word ninja and some are 18 and some 19 i am so confused they look the same reel I want to put it on a 6ft soni k

Makes you wonder where daiwa get there prices from. I paid £40 for each spare spool for my ballistics. Made from the exact same material the same red anodising and the same line clip but nearly four times the price!

Gs 4000 spool is double the price as well- not a huge difference?

Ive got a 4000 Ninja LT, and just arrived today a GS3000 that Hull Angling Centre are flogging for £47 on eBay. Both lovely smooth reels, the 6000 size Ninja would be spot on.

The cheaper spools are cast whereas the dearer are machined aluminium - the same with the main gear material
