There are some of Rob Maylins early bboks on ebay at what I concider are a good price at the moment. Tiger Bay for about £30 , its a good read as well unlike some of his later stuff which is just rubbish IMO.

Lads, if you want a really good read check out footprints and memories by M L Skeet.
The fella fished with Lenny Middleton at Waveney and was in on the hair rig early doors, fantastic book based around that era and his later years.

I knew a few of the lads who were on the lakes around the time and they said what a good angler and bloke he was.
I think he does a fair bit of barbel fishing now.
