Its a great bait, just make sure that you weigh your bait when you get it. A slight fluctuation here and there is fine but a kilo or 2 is not

Presumably you did something about it at the time and amends were made? Is it possible it was a genuine mistake, rather than an attempt to rip you off?

I'm guessing he's not doing a £60 for 10kg posted deal because he's rushed off his feet, at what should be the busiest time for year for a bait firm. Bloody tough for self-employed lads with a family to support at the moment. For what it's worth I'm really happy with the bait and no issues at all with the amount sent, will be ordering plenty more when a top up is required.

I've only just bought some of the bait and have only met Joe once. I'd like to think I'm a very good judge of character. I'd say if there were any fluctuations at all it would be a genuine mistake and something that would be rectified immediately.
Everyone and every business makes the odd mistake here and there. It's how they are corrected that makes the good people/businesses stand out from the rest.

It was sorted but it happened twice out of 3 orders (this was in 2016) and that was too much for me

Shame because its a really good bait. Hopefully that's sorted now. Only one way to find out

It's only £6 from Geoff though so why not just buy it from him?

Hi Busted,
Are you sure the bait was from my company?
As far as I can remember I've never had a complaint, that any bait I've sold, has been short?
Especially, not twice from the same customer. I'm sure I'd remember something like that.
I've gone through my orders from 2016 and the only order I had from Chris Simmons was for a free of charge sample pack in February of that year.
Obviously you may have phoned and collected it, but then I'm sure I'd be even more likely to remember it.
I run a small company on my own and would never knowingly sell someone short, obviously mistakes do happen, I'm sure over the years someone's bait had been slightly short or over. But as I've said I can't remember having a complaint about that in 9 years I've been running the company.
Working by self and been predominantly a mail order company has meant I can continue rolling through this strange time. But it has unfortunately been a lot quieter than a normal April.
We are selling 10kg of our MC Nut bait for £60 inc postage at the moment, whilst we still have stocks of Base mix. Take a look at our Website and Social Media pages, this Bait has caught some of the Biggest and best carp in the country.

Yes mate. I ordered the sample, liked what i saw and them found out that a mate was using it. He was ordering more than me so he ordered mine as well to keep the cost down, hence why there are no further orders from me

To be fair, the bait was good and due to it being cheaper because of the amount, i didnt complain, hence why ive not actually mentioned it anywhere for 4 years. In not the sort of person to throw stones at all (apart from at nash but thats another story) i got the missing amount from the rest of the order (whether or not that balanced out or there was still a deficit....who knows)

maybe he weighed the bags before giving them to me and gave me the lightest ones!? Unfortunately, i have to give him the benefit of the doubt

Either way, as i have said, people should make up their own minds and try it. Mistakes do happen and its a good bait. I never really thought to weigh bait before and i can tell you that there is another company that is far worse and fair few are a bit inconsistent either way

Times are tough, especially for smaller companies and we're all behind those in the industry

Never heard that before about Joe's bait and know a lot of the lads on my lake are on it. Also having met Joe on the bank I doubt very much he would knowingly rip anyone off .
Are you sure?
