Everyone who tries a curved stick puts the first few into the margins at their feet. Practice is key. Like most things in fishing.

Agreed but the Sharpshooter is a strange beast. Apart from the very tip it's not curved but straight but not straight in the traditional sense of a tube but two rails. I'll be ****ed if I can make it work, rather than continue torturing myself I think I'll stick it (no pun intended) on ebay

I've used the nashy version I found is pretty good
I have a Harrison carbon and a Gardner plastic one with a slight curve on it
but I'm damned if I can use a really curved stick like the Korda one.

The ridgemonkey is the worst stick I have ever used

but as been said its a completely different action to other throwing sticks once you got the hang of it
as the stick is like a fishing rod action and the range is amazing

you pretty much have to feel the boilie down the 2 rods until its right at the tip.. then thats the point that it needs whip as such. to be fair the sharpshooter is better with bigger baits 20mms really and the nashy one is better with 14-15s as the rods flex more.
