Im sure I've seen bedchairs on barrows, in this fashion before? Going back a bit.

I been loading my Carp Porter barrow like this for years. Bedchair upright at the front, this not only leaves access to the under barrow bag, but works well in supporting rod holdalls, brollies etc.

So I am out fishing tonight and thought I would load my fat boy barrow up at a bit different to normal.
I put the bedchair standing up right at the very front of the barrow and used my unhooking mat as a base to load my bag and other bits on behind the bedchair.
Thought you would all like to know this works an absolute treat and makes it even easier to push my barrow.
Saved myself three hundred quid as well .

with the depth of mud in winter I get at my local lake I could see that being a ball ache.

My previous barrow was,... well exactly that,.... a barrow. 15 years ago anyway.
Had a bit of a sebatical :-)
Anyway it served a purpose.
Wheel was made removable and the legs were cutt off. Holes were drilled into the barrow itself to aid
water removal after a downpour.
The rim was also drilled with holes every 2 inches to aid with tying on stuff.
It plain worked.
When I saw a Trakker access Barrow pop-up in the local classifieds,... I pounced on it!
This thing is Carpy heaven on a single wheel, such copious amounts of easy accesable space.
Fully collapsable when needed, although the carp mobile allows a simple “stick it in the back” approach.
Wheel needs to be upgraded to a slightly larger size with proper ball bearings and some decent rubber.
And they should sack the designer that thought square handles would do.
Some minor shortcomings which can easily be endured untill DIY time is found.
I even take it for short sessions,... it just plain practical.
Army tarp keeps everything dry and lives in the barrow.

I love mine. I fish some uddy places and have had no issue this winter with the bed chair getting muddy, its very light and the best part of it too me is the bag under the barrow. Owned a few barrows and imo its properly one of the best on the market and the only thing thing letting it down is its price.
