Took Yonny's advice to get Costa's and haven't looked back (again excuse the pun)
Ended up getting 2 pairs of 580G Tuna Alley frames with Sunrise Silver Lenses (for dawn/dusk/cloudy conditions) and Green Mirrors for bright conditions, again you can really tell the difference when conditions change and how much you can see depending on the lenses your using.... very happy with mine and think you can justify it when you can easily spend £400 on a reel or rod... whereas a good set of Polaroids will undoubtedly help you to put more fish on the bank

I own a few pairs of Eyelevel sunglasses, wraprounds and fashionable sunglasses. I wear them for anytime I need sunglasses, not just fishing, so have a terrible habit of losing sunglasses, leaving them at work, dropping them in the lake, or sitting on them😳
They are not the most expensive glasses around, and are available in some tackle shops as well as online

Really good mate.
I used both pairs down Horton a few weeks back where the water is gin clear, got to say I actually prefer the sunrise silver lenses over the green mirrors and even when the sun was breaking through the clouds I kept the sunrise silver on. When it was very bright though I switched to the green mirrors as you can tell the difference, but if I had to go with the one pair for all of my fishing I would use the Sunrise Silver. It really was incredible what you could see and how far down you could see with them, it was like viewing the lake in HD..

You're HD comment is exactly what I thought when I went from Fortis to Costa. Like Yonny I still use the Fortis in low light but those Silver's sound interesting...

Oakley's are what I use - got three pairs. Best their is, end of. For fishing, their Bottle Rockets are I think the pcik of the range. They stylish, unlike many brands... lenses are awesome, allowing you to see a lot deeper into the water and with absolute clarity. In hot weather they are still ultra comfortable to wear and the build quality is excellent. Forget Fortis and alike, especially anything from a fishing tackle company (will be over priced crap). Oakleys all the way if you want the best.

I disagree based on my experience of Costas... the pair I was given to review last year were second rate compared to Oakleys I own. I found them rather ugly and they weren't as comfortable to wear, lens quality wasn't the greatest either - I guess if they were priced well below Oakleys, I'd submit to a more positive view, but they're not. Each to their own though, I of course respect that

Everyones eyes can not be the same my glasses i wear for out and about and driving are oakley titanium crosshairs so comfy and lightweight i love them.I do keep looking at some ic berlins but can not justify nearly 300 on some yet
