All good now, I vaguely remember nine0six giving a figure of 12 weeks beyond which there are no side affects, was about right in her case.
Josh's mum was the other horror story on here, I'm hoping josh will say she's fully recovered too

That's good news.
I have noticed their is a lot of talk regarding aspiration when giving injections - the technique of once the needle is in the arm muscle pulling the plunger back to check their is no blood as it seems that their are increased risks injecting into the blood stream when their is no aspiration like thrombosis, Myocarditis or pericarditis and other cited side effects.
Many countries do this, China, Taiwan, Korea, Denmark and some other countries in Europe

Hospitals, like in that Guardian story from two weeks ago are filling up with unvaccinated, perfectly healthy adults. My best mates son had the vaccine two weeks ago and caught covid last week he's 13.My mate and his wife have now got it and they are both vaccinated so is that the vaccine working.My wife has just had the booster and was really ill,she is saying she probably won't have another one now

Here is one thing I'm currently trying to get my head round......
The Government is telling the unvaccinated to get vaccinated because it works. At the same time their telling the double vaccinated to get a booster because the 2 jabs they have already had doesn't work! Now on top of that their telling everyone the unvaccinated are putting the vaccinated at more risk of getting Covid by not being vaccinated at the same time as saying the double vaccinated jab hasn't worked??????

The same happened to my nephew. He caught Covid days after having the first vaccine. It takes two-three weeks for the vaccine to work properly Tony. Check it out for yourself. Plus there is a new variant that has mutated around the vaccines.
If you give millions and millions of people a new vaccine... There will be some side effects for some people. If we gave 50 million people Ibuprofen tomorrow en masse... There would be far far more side effects than those for the vaccine.
Would your missus also stop taking a simple pill for a headache? I doubt it.
Side effects, are not the same as dying Tony. Dying is permanent.
You sound like you have had enough of it all very much. It's the same for all of us mate. No one enjoys what is happening right now. My son asked me to bring his nan up to see him for Xmas. Because of Covid, she has not seen his new family home. When I told him it was a long old car ride for a 70yo, three hours each way... He insisted I bring her. Quite strongly too. I'm under no illusion that is because he fears he may never see his nan again if I do not take her.
That's coming someone working on the front line dealing with the virus. That's my mother he thinks could soon become a number in all of this.

Had both jabs and then got covid. Had the booster 4 weeks ago and for the first 3 weeks knocked the 5h1t out of me to the extent that I've never felt this unwell in my life. Into the fourth week and whilst I'm a little better I'm still bringing tons of rubbish up and have days where I'm aching all over. Because I rarely get colds ‘rarely ever take any meds as I let my immune system do it's work however long it takes' I'm convinced these jabs have fcuked my immune system up.

Good job it's less severe and catching this variant will be a further boost to the natural antibodies in me, unless of course I have just had Omi as one thing I noticed was how bloody tired I was last week??

I think what the scientists are worried about is these mutations have been occurring in unvaccinated people.
There are still millions unvaccinated and particularly in the poorer nations.
Delta for example spread really quickly as was more transmissible not sure if it was any worse that the previous ?
Now we have this new variant which is even more transmissible so likely to dominate so it has the opportunity to infect more and perhaps next time mutate into something far far worse.
