You don't happen to know if those trampolines work on wives do you? If so I think they might sell out pretty fast. Most blokes I know would love to shut their old woman up for five minutes.

That's why this lockdown is ******** and to read all you get is a £30 fine is pathetic.I understand people need to make a living,I do too and so does my wife who is self employed but is it really worth costing people their lives

I agree mate, I'm still going to work but my family are locked up. I could get it and infect them all before I'd even know.
No help from the government till June so I have to work while I can.

It'll take them that long to get the ball rolling, by which time people will be up **** creek..
I expect work will pick up again soon because the country can't afford not to

I dunno mate, I've tried to avoid the news so only caught that snippet, I know a few tradesmen looking to put the vans to use doing deliveries. We're allowed to work, supposed to work, but 90% of jobs just vanished, and half the jobs left you can't the materials

like noj says - it'll take them that long to get it sorted. my understanding from the press conference is that HMRC will be dealing with it all and they only have a finite number of staff (along with it being financial year end too which is really unfortunate timing...)
it does seem that he (rishi) has come up with a fair system.
not perfect, but definitely a huge step in the right direction. bearing in mind he was thrown into the job only a matter of weeks ago i have to say i'm impressed with him - and i don't often say that about politicians!

Both clubs I'm currently a member of have closed inline with the Government guidelines and rightly so, why take the risk.
We have seen social distancing & isolation being blatantly flouted even after being told over & over, embarrassing and totally irresponsible, though it comes as no surprise.
Feel for those who's firms/contractors have not closed, unless they have a few quid put by they are under enormous pressure to keep working until they are told otherwise.
All the best everyone and be as safe as you can.

my mrs just asked, if all theese fisherman who are still going fishing, if they catch something can the fish catch corona virus...its going to be a long lockdown with her I can see it..
