that again is a fair point in terms of 'perceived' innovation for a first release . . .however I would be expecting a glut of products to give the business a real POD rather than just a toe dip . . .to be honest the whole TB investment is a weird one in itself - millionaires who fish playing at being tackle gurus - very risky all round.

Yeah i agree it's odd.
There are a lot of brands out there that have crossed over from sport, to general fashion though.
Look at the north face. Outdoor clothing that was aimed at climbers and hiking. Somehow becomes fashionable amongst youngsters and cool people, so I'm told.
Id bet Ali will go after this next. Fishing clothing that doesn't look like fishing clothing. He only has to get a few of his footballer friends seen wearing it and all the trendy oiks will follow suit. .
