If they fitted shallow mesh then people would be wanting deeper mesh .The deep mesh is ideal for retaining fish whilst sort mat and scales out,on other nets I pop the mesh through the arms,it just slides out as you net the fish

Had a good play with these at the weekend , was pleasantly surprised with the 12ft 4lb tc not a stiff as you'd think , hit good distance yet still had a soft tip ,then had a go with the 12ft 6 4lb tc this is a brute and felt like a out and out distance rod can imagine in the right hands you could chuck it miles .All rods super light they will sell loads of these .

It wont be coming out with a shallow mesh, but theres a shallow mesh soon to be available as i emailed korda. I agree the mesh it comes with is far to deep.

Mesh is way to deep for me Tony. It kind of defeats the object of making the pole and block so light then putting a 5 foot deep mesh on which will weigh a ton when wet and be harder to move through the water.

The mesh is that deep so the net handle ( hence the spike on the end ) can be pushed into the bank or lake bed at a 45 degree angle to retain a fish after capture for that nice carpy shot on insta..

4lb Tc really, what the hell are they being made for “Great White Shark fishing!”

I can see these being banned very quickly by fishery owners when they notice their stocks lips are being ripped clean off!

Yes i know that but thats a load of ******** as I cant see anyone ramming there £250 carbon net handle into a rocky muddy lake bed to retain a fish other than fairbrass who gets them for free. Net meshes that deep are a complete hindrance.

Really ??you can apply just as much pressure with a 2lb tc through action rod as the rod length shortens with pressure being applied .

4lb TC = 4lb of weight to bend the rod to 90 degree angle

2lb Tc = 2lb of weight to bend the rod to 90 degree angle

simple physics = double the stored energy, which in the wrong hands equals a disaster.
