To be fair to them their denial is emphatic and surely we should take it at face value!? I don't know any of them, never met them, but that's no reason to not accept their word. We all have our little edges and guard them closely and they also deserve that right....I suspect that they are just bloody good anglers yet it's easier to pretend that they are using some ridiculous mythical product.
Let's hope this stops everybody going down this hormone wormhole....dread to think what is going to be chucked into our waters after this!

All seems a bit odd to me posting exact same statement. Nothing personal about it. Ambiguous to say the least. If you were going to come out and post something like that why not say " I do not and never will use hormone substances in my fishing"

I've been out fishing today,..simple stuff,you know, bit of float fishing and some marginal quiver tipping..
Had some good perch to 2lb,14oz...some nice roach,nice peaceful time...
Seems so far removed from carp angling,shame carping has gone this way,was ,it seems once a nice pursuit,now look at it ..
Money ,greed ,false rumours,true rumours,threats of litigation..
Soon as money and over popularity becomes evident,becomes the road to self ruination,a bit like football...and we all know what football has become...
'Man sees into the future,carp fishing impoding'and bringing down the rest of angling with it potentially..
No conspiracy theory needed here,carping is on a downward spiral...wait and see...

Chap I went with,cane n pin,sometimes a bit of old skool glass,Mitchell's, caps ,and homemade gear,floats a proper proper angler...do you know what he's brilliant at fishing ,far,far better than me,anyway today was a special day ,because he equalled his roach pb ,caught in 1977..been trying for a genuine two ever since...
We exchanged gifts,me a maids pasty,him a lemon drizzle cake,shook hands and fished..
Not a mention of litigation or anything other than enjoying the day...
Proper fishing,proper company...how it should be,
Things have changed...we ALL need to change our outlook towards carp angling because it'll go to the dogs..!
