I'm surprised, unless it heavy handed handling, there does not seem to be much tension on the block unlike the Nash hide.

Stupidity is in all layers, if you handle the Frontier correctly the block will not break.
Even knew someone who pushed the left bar out of the block, forgot to push the middle bar down first, his solution: Blame Fox

If people are breaking the block that is entirely on them, there is virtually no tension on it.
I witnessed some clampit break an XD last year. He had the poles twisted so there was too much tension in the fabric. I shouted at him to stop, but he didn't and he popped 1 of the front bar ends. His answer was that it was a bag of **** and it was all Fox's fault
You just can't account for the idiocy of some people.

Agreed.
In my experience the poles and blocks mostly break when something is caught up.
I've had a Pioneer.for years so that helps. You get very used to the tension. If it's like double difficult, don't force it, somethings caught up.
Mind you I had some material come adrift at a tension point
On a Tempest but obviously that could be a stitching issue

Bit of advice please, going back to match fishing. I've got a Frontier x incl mozzi front used once in perfect condition. How much would be a realistic sell price guys?

Well my 4 month frontier x broke 2 week back, i was setting up and the left of the 3 front peak poles popped out of the block, they have a swivel ball on the end thats holding them in the block, it just pooped out and wouldnt go back in.... Its possible the material had caught under the bivvy but it didnt feel under much pressure.
I Rang the wonderful parkfield angling and they exchanged it for a new one. I was expecting a repair tbh. Top service.
Only a week later a mate was fishing on an exposed bank in very strong winds. A huge gust hit the back of his XD, he heard a bang but the bivvy stayed up, only on packing up did he find the rear pole had sheared off at the block..
Hopefully isolated incidents as i do really like the bivvy.

Heard of a few block issues same as you said and one owner told me fox are aware and have spares to repair in stock.

My message of my Frontier X that leaked, got lost in the move to the new server. But anyways: I got a new bivvy from Fox. Just hope this is a good one.
