But to be fair there deaths and infections are lower I guess partly due to those countries not being as densely populated - were all a bit squeezed together in the uk.
Yet we keep letting more and more in and build build build 🙄

The problem at the moment is that there is so little trust / confidence in our shower of a government that people are ignoring the medical / scientific profession who are trying to keep people safe...

So then.... We are two years into this now.... And still the disbelievers think that it is all a 'con'. No one can explain who exactly benefits, from bankrupting the world and watching it burn... Yet it is all a 'con'. A 'con' that not one person can explain.

Let's break that down... 195 countries around the world, most of whom hate each others guts... They all got together, and agreed to make up a new mutation... To cover up a party for the tories last Xmas.
I don't even think that some of you even realise how crazy & unbelievable some of this stuff is, which you believe. It's not our governments fault... It's world wide. It is our governments fault for dealing with it badly... But that's it.
The reason there are inconsistencies in what 'they' say... IS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE A CLUE. There is no playbook for Covid-19. No one actually knows where this is going, or how it will end. We only have our previous history to look at in that regard. That is scary regarding global pandemics... But now we have modern science which we did not have back then....
Yet a number of people want to ignore that modern science, and take their chances, that 'they know best'. They know better than the doctors and scientists here to save us. It's like being in a parallel universe sometimes, where nothing makes any sense, from trying so hard to understand these people.
When you present them with the FACTS... They just blurt out... "We will never agree". I think that some people are so scared by all of this, they are actually suffering a sort of short term mental illness regarding it all.

Tony, you do not seem to understand how this even works, such is your need to believe that Boris etc are having one over on you, and that it is all someone from our governments fault.
Boris and co are not doctors or scientists. They are telling you, what the doctors and scientists are telling them to tell you. That's how this works. Boris is just a messenger... A clueless messenger that's it.
The UK has sadly lagged behind the rest of the world regarding mask wearing etc. Such is our governments want to protect your freedoms, the same freedoms that seem to matter more to certain people than their own families lives. Everywhere else in the world had no problem telling their citizens from the start... YOU WILL DO THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD... They told their citizens in no uncertain terms.
Two months wages in fine, in other places in the world if you are caught OUTSIDE without your mask on, no breaks in this.... Constant since last January.
Is that happening to you here in the UK? No, it could not because of our freedoms, and consequently our total hate of being told what to do because of those same total freedoms.

I repeated over and over through my son, that this was being said because of a lack of FFP2/3 masks for the NHS... I have worn an FFP3 mask from day one... On my sons say so. No one would listen to me, they were more interested in arguing that masks do not work full stop. The same people were not interested when I was telling them through my son that young healthy people were starting to be seriously affected to by the virus. Certain people started accusing my son of lying, of being part of the con because it did not match up to their strange views... He's a normal hard working paramedic seeing this stuff first hand with his own eyes, not polluted via the news or the internet.
All the way through these same people have been wrong at every single point... Not one of them can admit they are wrong, not once. Not ever.
That is so telling about the whole situation, and certain peoples mindset, that means they are never wrong, and they always know best.

Right from the start I've followed the right scientists and doctors on Twitter. The Govt are not the brains. Entitled cunning greedy maybe. But in a Pandemic I would rather listen to virologists.

It would be nice to see some actual evidence of why choices are made.......rather than “next slide please”......
Following the science is one thing but surely you have to follow it from a collective of scientists and professors rather than the ones you choose? Lots of scientists do not agree with stuff that's being done, why is that?
Take Fegurson for instance......wrong so many times yet they continue to follow his claims??
