Obviously carp are unable to vocalise themselves but imagine for a moment the distress and discomfort suffered during capture and the porn show prior to release were audible to us just as would be heard from other creatures subjected to similar treatment would it change our minds as to the supposed pleasure of a catch, we are lucky to be spared this as it would present just a little more than an inconvenience I would hope so in my mind carp care is absolutely paramount to avoid any further than already amounts of distress and discomfort for creatures that we supposedly respect and love.

I quite like sticking hooks in them and dragging them to the bank, it's my passion

Saying that, I get a buzz out of watching them too, amazing creatures

I would be well and truly devastated if I damaged one but that's the joys of fishing for them I guess
