A bit of a random one but I'm attempting to hunt down a copy of Big Carp magazine for October/November 1993 as my old man was featured on the mainline catch of the month page. Does anyone remember how the volume/issue number system used to work? Struggling to identify in my eBay searches.

That will be an early edition as it was bimonthly when it started in 91/92?
Can you remember who was om the front cover?

After Vol 2 issue 12, Maylin stopped dating Big Carp Covers. That was Dec/Jan 1992/93. I've got all the mags from that period. What was your Dad's name and I'll look at the mags and see if I can find him.

There is in the App Store (apple) a big carp app
Download it and it gives you a free magazine download but not sure if the early ones are on there.

I looked through all the BC's from around that time and a lot more but I couldn't find one with Graham Peers included. Mainline tended to use the same usual suspects at the time in all their ads and not many others got a look in.
I found I didn't have Issue 15 which pissed me off a bit but after looking at the other mags I'd be amazed if he got into that one.
There was the odd issue where Mainline didn't take an ad.
Are you sure your dates are right?

Thank you so much for looking mate, I'm sure it would have been around that time as I believe he caught the fish in the September. Potentially it was a different magazine or similar, I will have to see if I can find anything more out.
