Already got the Delkims, considering a swap to Nash. What are peoples thoughts are they better?

I've owned both (still using the R4s) and without doubt the Nash alarms are by far the best I have ever used. I had the old R3s before and these were excellent. Not sure the R4 is worth the extra money unless you are doing boat work or fishing rivers but i notice the price is coming down recently - I bought them as soon as they came out and they were expensive! I didn't like the Delks because they bleeped in heavy rain etc which was annoying and the R4s don't do this. They have a great range, good battery life, reliable and they also look good. Delks for me just have not changed over the years.

The delks allow you to quick release, do the Nash allow this? I like the drop back feature which the R3+ don't have.

Buy quick change buzzbars instead of the extra bits and bobs you need for the delks that make them quick change

Love the R4's.
Wouldn't pay full RRP but for features and use they are superb in the 6 months of heavy use I've given em.

I've got the txi's never had any issues with the alarms but the receiver has been back to delkim about 4 times. Very annoying so I'm changing my alarms and was going for the fox ones but a mate has the nash r4 and they are very good and cheaper than the fox.
If your delks are fine though why bother changing

A big plus with the Fox RX+ is the bivvy lamp in the reciever + the upcoming Security System, yes the other brands can also get a bivvy lamp like Smart indicator but the Fox one only gives light after 3 beeps.
If I had an R3+/R4 now, I would never exchange it for a Delkim, but I would also not exchange a Delkim for an R3+/R4
Also don't forget Delkim has no difference in sound for the dropback (if that's important to you).

I guess it's the false bleeps and the sensitivity setting that's affected by climatic conditions. Also the drop back change of tone on the R4's which the Delkim doesn't have.

Yes for the bivvy light option .
R3+/R4, Delkim Txi-d and Fox Rx+ are all 4 very good, just buy the one that offers the most in terms of options you want.
Another point why I prefer Fox is the on/off switch, during a recast I always turn off my beepers so I not disturb others with beep sounds, Delkim, Nash has a push button that you have to hold for a few seconds to mute them, Fox is instant switch on/off

They sound better - the TXi's sound crap. Much prefer the older Delks for that 'warble' .

I don't know about the R3+ or the R4, but the R3's just need a single push of the button to mute the alarm. I'd be surprised if they'd changed this feature on the newer alarms?

If i look at the Nash R3+/R4 manual you have to press the button several times to go from mute to sound (there are 4 settings), with Fox it is simply a switch on/off.

The Delkim you only have to press the left button once it mutes itself. Also unmutes itself in a certain amount of time in case you forget to unmute it yourself
