Can anyone tell me if there are any bobbins that grip the line but also allow the line to run freely? Only ones i can find are the fox slik bobbins

I think my solar titaniums came with a separate line clip so you can do both but i never use it just use my mps mag heads on them.

Solar arms do have standard clips snd a grip clip. Very good system

Muddy waters kippa clips now sold by Cygnet. Old school and still the best IMO

The esp barrel bobbins come with two types of clips extra weights and two length chain and are only about £15. If memory serves me right.

Jag safeliners grip the line and then drop off when you have a screaming run. Best of both worlds!

Yeah same.

My old matrix ones had the bit at the bottom you pushed into which grips line and when pulled tight pops out into the normal bobbin arms frerunning. Same as the delkims

those free running bobbins with little magnets inside are great,
mine have lasted for years..🙂
