Are the nash barrows as well made as the carp porters? I had a metro barrow years ago and it was spot on. Looking at the bigger evo mk2 at the min or a carp porter fatboy or 4s but cant make my mind up. Theres no stock anywhere of fatboys or 4s but i can get a nash trax evo for £237 online.
Not as well but a lot better

Just watched a video on you youtube of the power carp porter and nash power barrow side by side and the bloke was saying the build quality of the nash was crap in comparison. Going off his video the nash one did look poorly made.

I saw that too,
It seemed rather biased and orchestrated.
to be honest you need to try these various barrows and power conversions for yourself, only then will you be able to make an educated choice.
there's another video showing a fully loaded power barrow going up a massive hill, having seen some of these barrows for myself I doubt that kind of performance is not rigged and edited.

Best thing you can do imo buy the old model Carp porter or old Nash Traxx models and a Diy power kit if you want it powered.
I have a Carp porter of the latest model, put the Brand name NGT on it and it's correct, luckily I hadn't sold my old Nash Trax All-Terrain Evo yet.

Well I've had had few different model carp porters in the past yes their good barrows but the Nash metro power barrow are just as good and it ain't poor quality had mine over 18 months and it's been great

I've got a secondhand Power porter MK6, must admit I'm not impressed with the material quality. All the clamp points needed reinforceing when I got it.
A couple of years ago one of the lads was wheeling his powered barrow to his swim. Passing me he stopped for a chat, after a couple of minutes his barrow just took off on it's own, luckily he caught it before it it went in the lake or the adjacent beck. I'm pretty sure that was a Nash.

I don't know about the latest nash barrow but i still have a nash evo mk1 which is over 10 years old now and have had m2 and mk4 carp porters the nash one i have is better made than the carp porters i have had

I have converted my nash barrow with the global angling kit 350w mine does go up steep hills fully loaded i believe the standard nash power barrow is around 150w could be wrong?

So you were able to conclude the build quality of the Nash product off a video that is well known to be a load of ********? 🤣🤣
Tell you what , if the Prestige way of making a power barrow was so good all the barrow conversion companies would be doing the same thing but they aren't, they copy the Nash version, should tell you all you need to know.

Or maybe one was assembled loosely to form a bias, judging by many of the comments by viewers the general opinion is it was an unfair comparison, and staged with the sole intention of discrediting nash, the video maker has done nothing since, or anything previously.
