Compared it side by side vs the Fox duralite, the Fox duralite is alot better (better matrass and frame feels stronger)
The Ch08/Sp c-tech are top beds but the undercover pro is of a much lower level if you want light check the Duralite after 1 night on it i totally changed my mind about this bed, I regret now that I didn't sell my much too heavy Trakker oval levelite tall sooner.

After a night on the Duralite i find it better then the CH08 (Duralite : high density foam mattress) and the 3 season sleeping bag omg it feels so nice and warm, I also ordered the 1 season sleeping bag and a vrs cover (3 season was already a bit to warm this weekend)
In terms of build quality we have to wait and see, the CH08 is very well built + no sags, how the Duralite will be, time will tell but for me it is a much more comfortable bed than the CH08, in fact i had a better night on my Duralite bed/sleeping bag than i ever had on my Trakker oval levelite tall

I've got the Duralite bed, but not the sleep system, I prefer a loose bag. Up to now I'm very pleased with it, I find it very comfortable, (side sleeper). I had a couple of slightly unusual constraints when buying it. It had to pack away reasonably slim, so it would stand between the front and rear seats in the car. And I wanted a support at the foot end, my fat Lab has not quite grasped Newtons third law of motion, and can be a bit careless when she jumps on.
A lad on my syndicate has the Duralite sleep system (5 season I think), and he's happy with it.

You have to buy the pillow separately, pillow (i have the Trakker small 2.0 atm) is also not attached to the bedchair but you put it under the flap at the top, it stays good in place

There is a small fixed pillow see here https://www.foxint.com/home/product/duralite-bed?c=bedchairs-and-chairs but you'll probably need something additional. I just use a small blow up pillow or a small cushion.

For me yes but i only payed £186,83 for my Duralite bed, ( i bought 1/3 season sleeping bag separately)
Duralite bed is 1.6kg lighter then the CH08 and I like the Matrass better but that is personal.
I also notice that you have more usable lying space with the duralite, the padded sides are flat and match the mattresses, most bedchairs have padded sides that are thicker than the mattresses and where you actually lie in between, the lying space is often not that wide, this is not the case with the Duralite, you have the full 78cm of the duralite to lie on because you don't notice the sides with the sleeping bag on it.
if you prefer a slightly harder mattress and the extra 1.6 kg does not matter, the CH08 is still a very good choice.
Between the new Solar undercover pro and the Duralite i say 100% the Duralite, Between the Duralite and the CH08 it depends which mattress is better for you.
Edit: The Duralite with the 3 Season bag does not pack small in thickness is a good 35cm, with the 1 Season it is a lot less, the Duralite 5 season bag will be even thicker than 35 cm when folded but think the 5 season bag is overkill and a 3 season + Thermal cover is more than enough, think the CH08 with eg a Fortis snugpack bag will fold less thick

Totally agree with this, I came from a much wider bed, but in practical use the Duralite seems just as wide.

Always thought the extra padding at the edges were to cushion the user from the hard metal of the frame.

Between the padded sides you lie on the width is 58 cm with the Duralite, for example the Prologic inspire 6 leg (205x80) you only have 46 cm between the padded sides
Looking at the photo of Oldgeezer's Solar Ch08 with the Mountain Equipment Helium 3.8 SIM on it, (this sim is 51cm wide) and covers the entire mattress, so the Duralite bed gives 7cm more space between the padded sides
