You cannot be searching very well, there is loads of surgical elastic on EBAY for sale currently or have you been searching in Scarborough Bay. All you need to know is the outside and internal diameters of what you are using now. I have never had a problem buying it off Ebay and buy such large lengths in one go it lasts me years.

Is angling in decline? I have no real evidence but have the feeling that it's actually growing.
Growing because it's being latched on by those that like technology and gadgets. As I say I have no real evidence other than that many threads on here are created wanting to know the the latest technology, gadgets or asking for short cuts to information to 'What's the best...' Nothing wrong with 'What's Best' in some cases............just saying.
To be honest I hope angling is decline. I'm not bothered about the latest blah, blah , I'd rather fish for smaller fish in uncrowded venues, that the angler next to me is like minded, fishing for their own pleasure, not competing against me and not fishing for 'likes' on Facebook.
I know I'm facing a losing battle but that's fine, I knew that years ago but I will be staying on this forum, I won't be going.
I just use the ' Read the next topic' more often than I used to.
Does me a favour really as I spend too much on time on the internet

It's defo growing Bob. Lock down bought a zillion guys into the sport just to get out. Most are still going I think. Every open access water is rammed.

I'd noticed it on the bank as wondering when it would implode and the second hand market become flooded.
