As the name says - how would you make the ultimate boilie? Money no object, simply the best ingedients you can get.
Think of it as a thought experiment. What do you reckon?
I'm aware of the carp forum approved boilie, and the Facebook bait buffs Tropamino base. But do you think they can be bettered?

Interesting question, by what measure do we value it's excellence?

I'd make/use a proven bait, you are confident in using, that is affordable, and apply it baiting wise, ultimately better.. not necessarily pile it in, but scatter it around the lake, making sure many fish sample it without getting hooked.
Most expensive bait, doesn't mean catches most fish!
Watercraft, location and good angling does the rest

It's been done before, didn't catch on. People don't want to spend money on bait. Can't remember who did it but may have been Dave Moore or Brian skoyles. A certain Mr Nash brought out a bait along those lines that didn't set the world on fire either. If a bait's good enough to catch the fish in the lake you're fishing, why does it need to be any " better " and more expensive.

Understand that.
You can get round it sometimes, whilst fishing and moving swims many times, do a few hours, then move.
Only works when your lake is not rammed out with anglers

Nutrition wise or attraction wise? Those things dont always go hand in hand...

Exactly, the ultimate boilie for the guys who fish the same lake week in week out will be different to the ultimate boilie for the guys who fish short sessions, infrequently or on a number of different venues.
Nutrition might be important to the first group, less so for the second. Initial attraction works the opposite way, not so important if the fish are regularly seeing the same bait over and over but on a infrequent overnighter it's very important.

But economics still come into the equation, and remember you don't have to attract koi, they have no other choice, bit different in a lake.
There are massive differences between a feed and a bait.
