As per title. Been looking at the century titanium, solar p1 or do I order a dymag?

I dont think dymag are taking any orders at the min. Ive had most of the top end nets and the only two nets i would buy are the dymag or a chris brown carbon net.

Although I've not seen one in the flesh so to speak, I'd go with the new Terry Hearn net. I've got the previous Hearn net which I'd say is on par with the MKII Dymag net I've also got. Other than the very aesthetically pleasing look of the Dymag net, form and function, they're the same for all intents and purposes.

I would look at the Chris Brown carbon. It's stiff and light and the extension piece comes in handy.

The tube diameter is larger than an average net, but this probably allows thinner wall thickness. It's a good net, if you're close I would take a look.

I own 2 x solar P1 landing Nets and cant fault them. I bought them when it was still the telescopic handle and the arms had metal inserts connecting to the quick release spreader blocks. Raved about them so much got my mate to pay £300 for one.
His came and they have changed the design again(whether that's because of supply issues or cost). His net came in a 2 section pole section as their older bow locks which is not real issue but worth mentioning. The more disappointing thing was they changed the metal inserts on the arm to carbon extensions. On the first session my mates arms split at the connector joining the spreader block. He sent it back and they fitted metal inserts which now works but his pole doesn't fit the carry bag as its too long as they never cut the arms back to size lol.

The handle is a lot thicker than a normal net but its very rigid which is what you want, the net will outlast you they are bulletproof.

I bought the P1 Bow Loc last year and while I like it, I don't like the hollow net carbon arms and the metal block spigots which fit in them. As others point out, it is a design flaw. I bought the 50" JRC Cocoon net (right in picture) for £85 also last year and to be honest I love that, it also has a demountable spreader block and I use that for most of my fishing which is cats. I think it also comes in 42" but I do tend I use the larger one for cats only as they are slimey buggers 🤣

Matrix Bulldog is another very good option. Had mine 10 ish years with no issues.
