I am looking at getting an ND2 Baitboat, I want to fit Raymarine Dragonfly Pro 5, has anyone done this install? I am looking for any tips / pointers on hos its done and how to extend the wifi in boat.

Yep worth speaking to someone about it to understand how much it's going to cost.
The additional costs may lead you to consider other boats also.

I got the Raymarine professionally installed in my RT4 last year by a guy called Lee I think it cost around £700

I fancied a go myself.... not sure its a great idea but will keep me out of trouble for a bit...
I found a few videos online of people modding Deeper Chirps and shout out to @Teecee who sent me some info on his Raymarine install.
By all accounts it looks fairly straight forward.
Boat arrives next week so ill let you know how I get on......

I have been debating whether to wait until the ND2 with deeper are in stock to get one, get a standard ND2 BB or just buy a deeper chirp +🤔 my bday in Feb

I had an ND2 with Deeper chirp from factory but sold it as they mount externally and do not put internal WiFi booster in the boat. Its a mess about on the bank side with boost boxes etc.
Ill be doing the build over next few weeks so I will let you know how it goes.

I know little to nothing about bait boats but i am in a facebook page for the ND2 boat and its full of info and advice on how to use and modify them. May be worth a look.

Buy the ND boat and deeper separately and send the the boat to joe jacobs at BaitBoat solutions he will fit the deeper internal in the boat with no holes in the boat and he boost the range on the deeper to well over 200 yards and you keep the warranty on the boat as joe is the recommended person ND allow to modify the boat

Ah good info.
Iooks like buying separate is the best option. Unless ND cotton onto the necessity for booster and do this on their next batch of boats as standard

Update on the build(s):
I completed the build with ease, I've actually done 2 now, one with Ray Marine, one with Deeper Chirp.
I also added a few extras to the boats, hopper release lights, side snag lights etc.
They are really easy to do once you know the basics on voltage converters and where to solder the booster cables onto mother boards etc. all of this info I found online.
If anyone wants any info on how to do them or photos / videos etc. let me know.
