Hi I am looking to get a new cook set any recommendations. Budget sixty Green one's.

I have Primus Primetech 2.3lt pan set. Big pan has heat exchanger. Brilliant; non stick, removable handle and carry bag. I can fit my kettle inside too. Roughly about £70 and worth every penny IMO.

I got the Trakker Armolife Marble Cook Set for my birthday and absolutely love it. You'll also get some change from your 60 notes.
I have the medium set and my kettle also fits inside my saucepan.
I've ditched the Ridgemonkey now, much prefer a pot and pan set.

I bought myself a cast iron set from Dutch oven, a lot better than all those thin carp cooking sets.

Trangia 25 or 27 -2 U/L either using meths burner or gas conversion.

Plus the thread writer,could maybe look at Trangia Tundra sets,a smart non meths or bio alternative,high quality,coupled with a 2.5litre Billy and a heat source of there choice..
Nb,any Trangua owners reading this,you seen the Kernow Bushcraft camo or green waxed bags ?
Trangia Central,do roll top bags and EVA protection bags straight from Transviken..

In an attempt to travel as light as possible my cook set consists of a spork, various pot noodles and porridges and maybe some fruit 
Oh, and maybe a local take away menu....

How do you heat the water up to make the pot noodles,have you thought of coke can meths burner,use one on a Ti cup maybe,or a stick stove..?

Iv used the fox medium set for years now and I keep looking at alternatives as I fancy something new again but to be honest there's nothing really better on the market so i may just end up getting another one.

Have a look at the fire maple sets on Amazon. Very similar without the carp tax and can be picked up with decent discounts sometimes. I recently picked up what would be the fox medium kit for £30 I think it was.

Think you pointed me in their direction Adam. Bought one of the waxed camo bags for my 27. Very well made bag. The drawstring fitted did to start show signs of wear, so changed it out for some heavier paracord... took all of 5 mins and now its perfect
. Another mate of mine took his newly aqquired 27 out this week. He was rather impressed to say the least, even tho hes gone down same route as me and uses gas. Going to work on him and try and get him on the meths at least once 
........

Yes Andy,those bespoke wax canvas bags for a trangia,and Kelly's are top ,top gear..
Tell your mate,I once tried gas in my stove ,and I was excluded from any further interaction with Kernow TAS..,I went back to meths with my paracord tween my legs..

I always take a kettle, Im addicted to tea
But ive never seen/heard of this method, would it give off enough heat to boil water I wander?
