Can anyone recommend a lightweight bivvy bag that will fit the standard size tempest 100 bivvy.
I rarely use the door, groundsheet and poles. The bag it all came in weighs a ton and is really bulky.

Army Andy has a Facebook page he does Bivvy repairs and makes tailored bags but I am not sure if he does lightweight ones most people like larger heavy duty bags with a full length heavy duty zip
I had an extra large one made so if I had to pack up in torrential rain and with a muddy wet groundsheet I could just quickly roll it up and drop it all in and sort it out at home with a garden hose
generally most bags are too small and trying to pack it back into a small bag is a nightmare
but its worth asking him his work cannot be bettered its outstanding I have had repairs made couple of bivvy bags a padded solar panel tailor made case rod tip protectors mesh replaced in a bivvy clear plastic panels put in the front of a bivvy list goes on lots of stuff all will outlast me here is his page

I have just ordered a new bag for my V2 Tempest (along with a couple of other bits) from BAS, hopefully delivery next week was impressed with products and reviews but will update when I recieve the order.

JUST FOUND THE PICTURE
I wanted a PROPER heavy duty bivvy bag that I could easily just drop a bivvy into without struggling so I asked Army Andy to make me an oversized one its fantastic !
Its got a Tempest Bivvy A skull cap plus groundsheet a bivvy mat bivvy shoes pegs everything in it here is the picture

I've heard through the grapevine (the missus phoned!) this may have arrived this morning i'll try and post a picture over the weekend. I ordered last sunday so 5 day turnaround which is what I was quoted.

I had a standard sized one made a while back and it was poo. The ends were flat stitched rather than having a round panel fitted which made it so tight to use.

Not a long term review but I would recommend on first impressions.
