Hi All,

I am looking for a good quality nut based shelflife boilie.
Must be shelflife as I no longer have a bait freezer.

Thinking of ordering the ABS MC Nut but was wondering what else is available?

RG Baits Vita-lac stabilised.
They will go off, but nice and soft. Would need the hard hookers for your hook bait.

Really like the look of these mate, do you know how long they will last roughly?

How soft are they, can they be used in a throwing stick or will they split?

I used these a few years back. Really good bait. I remember asking Greg the same question. He said he had some vita shelfies year old and still nice and soft

I got some earlier this year and stored them dry and cool. They are still fine.
When I say they will go off I mean on the bank, in the sun \ warmth.
You can tell they have less preservative in them, as the ones I kept on the bank \ in the light deteriorated somewhat.
The silver fish and crustaceans got to them a bit - they are quite soft.
This was all in the warm spell we had earlier on.
I've saved them for October onwards.
Lovely texture and smell though, lots in them.
Never used them with a throwing stick.
I tried the sample packs for 6 quid before I bought them - just dropped them a note if they could send the stabilised version to try and they did.
Heard good things on the Oxford Baits MC nut also, which I want to try (impressed with their Crab bait Shelf) - they also do trial packs.
