I have a wychwood hd brolly (old solace type) I can remove all fabric from the frame but can I put it in the washing machine.😂😂😂😂😂

Cheers waddle. Any way of getting it clean again. Tried those and brush didn't work that well.

Can buy tent cleaner but warm soapy water and then fabsil gold after to reproof it

DONT use any detergent AS YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO GET IT WATERPROOFED AGAIN

use a proper tent cleaner OR only pure soap flakes or liquid (Wilko)

Don't forget to iron it also

I used a fabric softener so it goes back on the frame a little bit easier.

Plus it really helps gets rid of any cooking smells they have built up over the years.

Or use white vinegar instead as it does the same job as fabric conditioner
Not a lot of people know that and certainly the detergent companies don't want you to know plus it cleans the washing machine

I have always been of the opinion the dirtier the better with all my gear..the one possible exception being my sleeping bag ..and the jury is still out on that one too, to be fair.
