I believe there are several together as one around Quarry Lane and Woodgate Lane in maxey.
I know there are a couple of gates on Woodgate Lane but believe the main entrance is on quarry Lane? Used to be run by a gentleman that sadly died but I have no contact details.

I don't think anyone knows what lakes are available nowadays sadly. I believe there is a bailiff who has a slight interest in what happens, but I personally have no details.

I'm certain the main entrance is woodgate lane down the bottom and to the right , that will take you half way round the complex. The other road you spoke of is for the summer house I believe that's an unfishable bank or it used to be.
I'd imagine your best bet for contact details is to either try and find a bailiff on there or go over to Gerard's and speak to their bailiff. Gerard's bailiffs always used to be about a few years back.

As far as I no the water across from the day ticket water is full of doubles and cats. Loads of fish have disappeared from it too no idea where or how. But I have a mate on there and it's not the same stamp of fish in there that was in there 5 years ago

Spen89 you are correct, there's a gate on the right before Gerrard and another one at the end of g errards,was full of stunted commons just about doubles with a scattering of stunning cream coloured mirrors. Not sure if the public right of way is not closed now but you could walk all the way round passing maxey pit 5, 1 and2 which had a few stunning 30s in years ago, now I have no idea what's where.

I will have a walk around if there is still public access to part of it. Was looking to see if there was any pike present for winter, heard rumors there were some decent ish pike but sounds like it might be old wives tales.

Would not exactly bet my life on it but i think there was a few zander in there. If you have never walked round there start (Woodgate lane) along the first bank you see on the right before you hit the main body of water then keep left.As you progress you will come across pit 2, then pit one on the right a bit more protected. Then you will see pit 5, narrow channel connected to pit 4 then walk all the way back to g errards back Down Woodgate lane to where you started. If nothing else you will waste a great couple of hours. Keep your eye out for a broad channel and get through the trees and stand there for a bit, rarely will you find a more secluded spot.

I never knew they were numbered as such. I thought it was just the maxey complex, I thought the lakes with the bigger fish were a seperate syndicate? I am probably mistaken as last i fished it was close to 10 years ago.

Im sure it's pit 1 and 2 individual lakes. The round bit by pit 2 was pit 3, the main lake pit 4 with the 1st bit of water you see on the right coming down Woodgate lane being pit 5. So..... pits 3 4 and 5 are all linked but were individual lakes many years ago, if ya get me....

Hi Not sure anyone can Help me! I am new to this forum and shall be returning back to UK after 32 Years Overseas.
I used to fish the pit opposite No 1 over the road and owned by the Crowson Family.I used to access from High street and I fished I think it was either called Carolina or Savanah lake I cant recall, it was the one that was closest to tuckers Nook. There was a public footpath along side the Pit.I am not sure if the pit still has any membership ? I am unable to find anything in any searches. There was a few carp in there and many silver fish, nothing of great size but just a nice place to be....Would appreciate any update if anyone knows any information/Contact regarding fishing there or Membership. Many thanks!!

I'm not sure but I think Savannah is the caravan park lake (holds a very special linear (as in one of the best in the country)). I'm sure someone will say if I'm wrong.
If I'm right, then you'll not find any membership info anywhere. Not an easy place to get on, the term Dead Mans Shoes springs to mind.
