Im looking to upgrade to a better landing net and wondered if there was a better option than the Sonik Vader landing net im currently looking at? Does anyone own this net and is it any good?

Yes very easy to disconnect the net arms from the spreader block great net for the money

I've got the sonik one that's with my dwarfs and rod holder for travelling light via bike,walking or public transport and had no issues,Also bought the darent valley landing net(no pole but had spare) and out with it for first time hoping it will be christened by a big fat canal carp

Saber two piece carbon. I got one as a second net and it seems fine for the money. Not had it long so can't comment on reliability

I've got an xtractor net, and a saber 2 piece, which are both cheap but good nets in there own right. I paid £30 for the saber and it's hard to beat in terms of value.

Angling direct are doing the JRC Stealth for £54.99. Nice and compact. Fits in my Nash scope rod holdall nicely.

I don't know if Cyprinus still make their net, but i got one for about £30 a few years ago and tbf, it's been very good. Lightweight, strong and the mesh has withstood being dragged through brambles etc and some savage use in some pretty inhospitable environments. Incredible value for money and i prefer using this one to the various other more expensive nets i have sitting in my tackle room. I suspect the Saber one referred to below may be the same?
