I'm after buying a bbq like the ridgemonkey one to take fishing. I'm pretty sure someone posted about a company that makes the same design but better made. I can't seem to find the post (or maybe it wasn't on here I see the post)

There is something called a kampa sizzle which is similar to those blown case cookers,Outback do one and so does SPRK..
Thought about getting one,but have enough stoves!!

I have that one ! It's a great bit off kit and really compact and cooks really well.

£24 mine was but I have seen them cheaper and a lot more expensive. So good as they pack down tiny and are lightweight.

It's not been discontinued they have struggled with production during Covid . !! Says production will be back to normal for 2021. Everywhere I looked they were out of stock.

Weber go anywhere is brilliant, cheaper and will last a lifetime or ten cobb are miles better pieces of kit
Have to say it amazes me that people would even consider a fishing brand conpqfeee to companies who exist purely to produce cook wear

FACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANY BBQ will cook soooooo much better with a lid on otherwise you WILL especially on a windy day get dried / burnt outside and undercooked n the centre
this point was bought home to me after watching Ozzy BBQ programs PLEASE trust me cook a big burger with the lid on you will get a perfectly cooked tender juicy one
BUT if you think carrying one with a lid is to much aaggg enjoy your crappy food

Most British BBQ's consist of a packet of Richmond's a box of Findus and two cases of Stella lid or no lid.
