After some feedback on the esp hideout, is the build quality good and could it be used like the low pro with no additional storm poles in light winds?

Never seen a Hideout. However if using the front on my Low Pro, I would always use storm poles.
Otherwise you have the weight of the whole brollie, plus front being supported by the two extended side ribs.

Green most likely as pointed out by bluebeat, however, it would not surprise me if they also released it in the camo material to match their luggage.

After the hideouts being in some good pre Christmas sales I though I'd take a punt and I'm glad I did. I can't believe you don't see more reviews on these especially after the excitement around wychwoods new offering, the hideout ticks a lot of boxes.
The built in rollback side give great added protection and one or both sides can be used which is really handy. There is a zip in door with a full mozzi panel. Most deals come with the full mozzi wrap too.
The internal space is great and the door/front height is 125cm which is good for a brolly system, this can be made lower and there are 3 pegging points on the roll up sides.
I'd say with the sides rolled back and no mozzie mesh you could probably use it like a low pro with no storm poles. It wouldn't be mega stable in a wind but would work just for cover on a quick night in the spring/summer.
All in all looks to be a great shelter especially at £160 including all the extras. Fingers crossed it's robust

I did look at these but......> FOR ME<.... one of the most important things is rear ventilation thats why IMHO the Wychwood tactical 55" is so much better
yes there are people that say well with the brolly front zipped off whats the point ?
well thats down to their lack of experiencing the lovely cooling flow of air that only a rear vent can produce
it can and so often does mean the difference to having a lovely sleep/nap or sweating your nuts off

Not really bothered about rear vents spent nearly 40 years without them you only get the odd night even in summer where it's that hot it's normally peaing with rain and windy when I go

The best bit about the Lo Pro/Hideout is the low weight/speed. They are the strong points. Whack vents in it, or any other feature intended to improve comfort, and you add weight.
If the priority is anything other than speed and weight then there are much better options out there imo.
If the priority is speed/weight, the Lo Pro/Hideout cannot be beaten.
