Has anyone had a chance to see these Atrex rods in the flesh? They sound and look the part but are they as good as a Harrison or Century blank? I'm looking for a new set of 12' 3.25 TC rods and would like to know if I should consider them?

I saw Chris was selling the rods and to be fair they look pretty damn good.......just would rather know a bit more about them before committing to lots of cash.
BTW I have contacted Chris for a bit more info......I'll see what comes of that.

Not sure what to make of them as nobody seems to have had any “hands on” experience at the moment. Shame tbh.
BTW Heard back from Chris and he's directed me towards his CODE rods. They look pretty good too!!

Ive tried several of the range. Really impressed. Early days but Id say they are a real contender for the UK manufacturers.
The 13ft 3 3/4 is a beast, real range rod which is close the the Harrison trebuchet light.
The 12'6 3.5 was really nice. Light, responsive and cast miles.
I was VERY impressed.

Friend of mine got a couple of the extreme range Code rods when Chris started building them. Although he waited almost a year for them to be built after paying.
They cast miles but make the old Century FMJ's look like a match rod. Absolute bean poles.

Chris ormes build quality is awesome , the code rods are very good , however I believe Chris will also build on other blanks.

From what I understand - Atrex in 12ft only comes in 2.5lb, 3.5lb and 3.75lb.
I have built a few of these Rods in 10ft 3.5lb and 12ft 2.5lb.
Very nice blank to build on - relatively light, and actions as stated.

as in used chris palmer as a builder, in which case yes, built and rebuilt me 5 sets of rods. If asking about the Atrex rods, i have used a set of 12ft 3.5lb tc rods on a big pit i fish, lovely rods, light, responsive and can put a lead out with ease
