Are you sure they are still going? If they are then cream cracker was a great bait, as was Christmas cracker

correct. Paul left to form Magnum Baits and ollie carried on with Elite. My mate was using them at the time. Soon after the split he stopped using Elite. make of that what you will. magnum still make cream cracker but it's £13 a kilo.

elite baits is still running. After the split with Paul alot of rumours went round that ollie wasn't putting in the high quality milks that go into the baits which was rubbish. A few of my mates have always used his baits since the split and say there's no difference. I myself bought 50kg of smokey mackerel recently and its still very effect and works any where. There's a shop you can order it from in hemel Hempstead but I can't remember whats its called as I went direct to ollie as you get it alot cheaper. The cream cracker is a fishmeal with a creamy tone to it and is a very good bait which does do alot of big fish but personally I always found the smokey mackerel better as its a take anywhere type of bait but my old man prefers the cream cracker as he had his first 50lb common in France on it. Give ollie a call his number is still on the website

Ok, so why was the cream cracker that my mate got post Paul leaving different to the one he got when Paul was there? My mate rang Ollie and told him so and got told they had to reduce costs so he went elsewhere. They may have changed it back of course since but it put my mate off using it. Shame as he said the cream cracker was the best fishmeal bait he had used.

All I know is when Paul set up magnum baits alot of rumours went round about ollie not putting in the high quality milks that went into the basemix and alot of customers showed loyalty to paul and went on to using magnum baits instead. I personally used elite baits smokey mackerel and cream cracker 20 plus years ago from elite baits and then from magnum baits from Johnson ross tackle when i needed to just grab a kilo or 2 when I was running low and didn't notice any difference in the quality and also my catch results and only stopped using it due making my own but this year went back on it due to not having the time to roll the quantities of bait I use and the bait I picked up is exactly how I remember it back then. I've never heard anything where ollie had told people directly that he had changed the make up of the cream cracker and only go by my own friends that used his bait then and now and my own experience of using both baits
