Mainline do a hoody thats fleece lined lovely and thick and warm

Don't waste your money, go to an outdoors shop, you will get way more for your money. Fishing branded clothing is nothing special and just badged up stuff with added carp tax

a decent fleece is far and away warmer IMHO

I've got a couple of Trakker hoodies but can't remember the name of them. But one is a Brown colour with a sewn in neck warmer that you can pull up to cover the lower half of your face in a cold wind chill. It is lined with fleece and heavyweight compared to others I have. So yes quite suitable as a Winter clothing layer.
