I see Aqua have released their first ever rods - To compliment the Atom range. I realise these retractable blanks are all the rage but slightly surprised Aqua have started their rod range with a blatant copy. Ironic considering the tone of the interview with Chris Manifold I recently watched.

I think chris only does a few bits for aqua design wise I doubt he calls the shots on what they market.
trakker do rods now so why not aqua

£229.99 per rod.

10ft, 3.25, 3.5 and an application rod in 4.5. Full Duplon or Cork.

I'm not against Aqua doing rods or even copying the design, just suprises me a little that they are just run of the mill. An opportunity missed on their 30th Anniversary imo

I actually saw these at the show yesterday and they look bang on, very light. They said in the autumn they would be bringing out luggage. I guess as a full atom range to rival the nash stuff.

The landing net block looks very similar to the design of the one on the dymag net.I bet all this new aqua gear will have a crazy rrp

no test curve under 3.25lb

crazy for small water/stalking rods imo
