I have enjoyed using cypography but FFS.... Problems logging in and a piss poor app make me question the subscription cost....

Saw something online earlier and apparently they're updating all the apps and you need to set up a new password? Check out their socials, I'm sure they'll tell you more.

They've just updated there App. You have to download the latest version and reset your password. As a member you should of received an email telling you how to do it. To behonest I followed the link on the email and found it didn't work.
Done the formentioned and it worked fine.
As for other content I can highly recommend Joe Morgans Carp Angle. He release content on a monthly basis. Well worth a look.

Yep. Had no email, tried the reset password on mobile, PS4 and Xbox x and it still doesn't work.
Piss poor imo... If you charge for something it needs to work imo... 🤔

The new app imo is very good. Screen within a screen and much better navigation

I personally think Cyp has gone down hill. Also heard from a reliable source there subscribers compared to previous years are well down.
I'm not surprised with the piss poor customer service.

It looks like Cyp are now only producing underwater vids. Will be interesting to see how this pans out for them?

Watched their video last night on the change, weird video that alluded to lots of things without really talking about it. Then took 18 minutes to actually tell you what was happening. Not sure it quite needed the hollywood documentary reveal, could have been a clear explanation that change was coming and why.
I do like the underwater stuff and hopefully will be a bit more methodical in approach to test things out than we've seen before. But would I subscribe to watch that every month? Probably not. Unfortunately for them the big brands like Sticky etc do a great job of story telling now so hard to compete.

The same. Same old, same old fish picks up rig, fish ejects rig. Don't no how there going to keep the audience captivated every month with that. I for one like a bit of variety in my viewing. I like the interviews and in session stuff.
PPV platforms are going the same way as the mags. Finding it very hard to keep it fresh. There running out of faces to use. All the so called names are tied up with there own filming commitments for the various company's that pay and support them. Which is all free to view. Be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Elliots already asked her. Apparently not to keen. Especially as he asked Shelley first.. would definitely freshen it up..

I was told by a reliable source Elliott was more interested in his own fishing than concentrating on Cyp, hence why the video didn't seem up to scratch.

I see that Cinecarp with Tom Maker will be putting their content on youtube and not going down the subscriber route anymore, it will all be FREE - they are in bed with a company that does all the day ticket bookings e.t.c. Current subscribers will be re-imbursed with their cash. Clever move by Maker that can see the writing on the wall with these PPV companies.
Who is going to pay these other firms when you have it all on youtube FREE.
Looks like Cypography have been caught out and well behind the curve, i suppose thats what you get sitting on Burghfield 4 days a week whilst other firms are sorting themselves out.
Fairbrass has the underwater scene all sewn up. All they will be doing is the same stuff Korda has been doing for years......also, that is FREE to watch on youtube.

Really? He did back in 2008, but all the recent ones are just adverts. Underfishing looked promising as they were actually testing things, but they got in bed with OMC and then that seemed to seal their fate. There is definitely a market out there for some real underwater testing, back the way underwater videos used to be.

underfishing have worked with a few companies & I don't think they are aligned with just OMC? (Fox, Jimmy Anderson & KWO?). Their viewing numbers on YT are through the roof in the millions whilst most carp films top out under 25k (there are exceptions - Korda, Alan Blair, Terry Hearn) so I expect Elliot has seen that as a market to tap into.
The underfishing seems to have a global audience & is very simple - high quality footage which allows the viewer to work out what is actually happening without a commentary from someone who is making their own conclusions - that is certainly the appeal to me. I used to watch the earlier Korda DVDs with the sound off & had forgotten to do the same with the more recent films.
wrt cyp - Elliot was right that if you stay stagnant, you get left behind - they were a trailblazers & everyone else seems to have caught up now. I am intrigued to see what they are going to do that is different & look forward to seeing what they come up with. not much new in fishing these days but I am sure there will be something.
I would say that Rich Stewart will be wasted filming people in a shelter looking at screen as he is a wealth of carp fishing knowledge & history so I hope he can find something that works to get the best of his talents. He is a rarity in the current scene as he comes across as someone who appeals to more experienced anglers who aren't as interested in the latest tackle, gadgets & trends.

I completely agree re Rich Stewart - he's also a really lovely guy in person too. Had the pleasure of meeting him at a charity event last summer.
I think some of the best films for Cypography have been their interviews and 'End Game' films. Fair play to them giving the underwater stuff their main focus. I hope they really do some interesting innovation and testing. Proof will be in the films. Imagine doing one on Burghfield and the BC swims past...
